The end of our regional UDUK league campaign is fast approaching, and much remains still up for grabs. Here’s a summary of the latest from around the leagues: Midlands – in the Midlands region, the league title is set to go down to the very last day. The Midlands crown is set to be decided in Nottingham’s Bierkeller on Wednesday, when Warwick and Trent face off. How’s your nerves?! North West – the North West league has been the site of much drama and plenty of top-quality arraz this season. And word must go to Lancaster’s Dan Horrocks, arguably the best performing player in the country this season, who got 8 darts into a maximum leg when his side faced off against Liverpool last week. Not bad! As well as some excellent individual performances, Lancaster have also sealed the North West title for the season, fighting off strong opposition particularly in debutants Liverpool as well as Bangor. North East – in the North East region, it has too been a closely fought thing. York look set to take the title overall, but Durham Bs have also had an excellent tilt at the title and remain in a strong position. North Central – in North Central, the University of Lincoln look set to come out on top, but are facing strong opposition in Sheffield, Leeds and Sheffield Hallam. Could they continue the region’s national finals prodigy again this year after Leeds picked up the title in 2022? South West – the South West region has been a hotbed of activity of late, with the University of Gloucestershire’s campus recently playing host to the Cotswolds Classic. The South West’s league has also impressed, with a two-horse title race between Bath and Oxford. Can Oxford and Cotswolds Classic champion Musa Ali find some magic in the final run-in? Or will Bath book automatic qualification to finals day?
